The refurbishment cost is $2,400 per set of (4) rotors plus shipping.
Around $13K is a very attractive alternative to factory PCCB, plus I can sell my irons to lower my cost. But any chance of a group buy???
BTW what's involved in "refurbishing" a set of 4 rotors at $2400?

Unless you want to leave the car in the shop while getting the rotors refinished I would recommend keeping the iron brakes. That way you can reinstall and still use the car. Otherwise you're not going to be able to use the car while waiting.

No one has been able to answer this question for me. The gold color hats look terrible.

RE-10s, and I see you are planning on testing with them.

Agreed. If they can be purchased in black, I'll buy a set. But I'm not gonna go through the trouble to remove the hats and refinish myself.

While I agree the color could be better, I'm not sure I would say they look "terrible"

Personally, I think they look like a purpose built race car part as is. Gorgeous in my eyes.

Aesthetics still matters to some people, either way. If I had a purpose-built race car, though, I wouldn't care (I also wouldn't have a GT3).

Agree. Changing the color also may screw up heat dissipation.

I agree. It’s not like I see a GT3 or RS and say “OMG, the hats are horrible!”. Lol.

I have Had the ST rotors for over 2 years now, they were supplied by Autoquest in Ft Myers ,one set has already been resent to the UK to get refurbished , beware of the down time " 4-6 weeks".
They are by far the best breaks on the market for track use.
Nothing comes close, not even the PCCB......the last bite is the same as the first one...absolutely no fade, and they do shorten the stopping distance
You would think that by adding another US dealer , prices would come down though

Such a BS argument. If looks don't matter then forget PTS. Forget clear side markers. Forget deviated stitching, forget Weissach, carbon fiber buckets, and all the other looks-only options people obsess about. The fact is, looks do matter. If you want a purpose-built race car, you're gonna get a cup car. People who say looks don't matter on a $250,000 exotic sports car are the real posers. Performance is important obviously. But so are looks and I'm not afraid to say so.

Black hats would definitely look better. All I'm saying.
