991.2 GT3 - is a good deal for you?
I'm finally approaching to but a "almost brand new" GT3 guard Red.
2000KM, no track, guard red, lift, bucket seat (not 918), lift, black led lamp.
Price: 145K/eur. ---- 12H to confirm and order!
What do you think? it's a fair deal?
we should expect an High drop in the next 3 years?
Advice/ predictions are welcome

991.2 GT3s only go up in value over time. This is accelerated by adding more miles, or even faster with track miles.
I'd offer another $10K to sweeten the deal with the seller, they are doing you a favor.

I appreciate the irony, surely it should be driven fast and on the track. The price for the current market seems inviting, but I'm honest: I'm scared of the arrival of 992.
it seems to fair in europe to be true. I wouldn't want to take a beating on value, as I have to consider to maybe re-sell it in the next 5 years for the family project.

Most cars are depreciating assets, so you will lose money. If you aren't good with that then pretty much no modern Porsche will fit this scenario, 991 or 992 or anything.

I’m ok with depreciation and I calculated it. Depending how much it will be. Land at 125/30k with market value after the 992 GT3 for my will be fine. I’ll enjoy 😂 more? It start to be hard🥶

How a person spends their money and where they see value is a very personal thing. Personally I don't care what the value will be in a few years as long as I'm enjoying it while I own it.

Life’s too short. If you can afford it and like the car, why hesitate? If you’re looking for asset appreciation, try income real estate, or the stock market for better outcomes.

No no. I don’t wanna to make any investment on this. Just enjoy and plan to lost the “honest depreciation” when I need to sell it (hopefully never, but when babies will arrive I’ll need it). I know that anyone know about it, but assumed that the 992 price will be not less than 190k for a good one, I won’t exepect 991.2 drop less than 130k... if it was like this, I won’t have any regrets to buy to now... but who know what will happen😱

I can't help you with finding the perfect spec. Can't help too much with price, or predict depreciation. The info is certainly out there to research and estimate a reasonable asking price for a particular vehicle. What I CAN tell you is that if someone who was able to look into the future, told me that my GT3 Touring would be worth only 20% of what I paid for it in 10-15 years, I wouldn't for a moment consider selling it. I will continue to pay attention to mileage only as it pertains to maintenance. And drive the **** out of it with a huge smile on my face.
