First track day in my 991.2 GT3
Having made some inquiries about tire pressures and other stuff in preparing for my first track day in other threads, I thought I should share my experience in the format of a short youtube clip!
Some background information. This track is a brand new, privately owned track in the northern parts of Sweden. It's close to the arctic circle and is the longest, or so I have been told, track in Scandinavia. It's just been finished to host the Swedish Porsche Carrera Cup (and some other disciplines) I got invited by our local Porsche Center to test the track prior to the official openings. It is an amazing track with various difficulties. I think it will take some time to get to know it and produce some good lap times.
As I wrote, this is the first time on track in my GT3, and the first time on Cup2 tires. It took some time to get acclimatized, and I still need lot's of time to get more up to speed. But, I'm amazed on how good this car is, and how good these tires are!
The fastest qualification time set by the Cup Cars was 1:48 seconds. My best time was 2:09 (judging by the video). Pretty slow compared to the Cup Cars, but it sure felt fast to me! Anyway, check the video below!

Very nice, what kind of camera do you use? Almost looks like it's mounted on a gimbal?

Love it. Cool to get to try out a new track like that.
