On my Raptor, I run a Max360 with waze and 5 point (3 front, 2 rear) ALP laser jammers. I had two laser saves in a two week span on the freeway ... came over the hill at about 20 over and the ALP unit went crazy; dropped down to posted speed limit and shut off the jammers. The next week I was in the exact same spot and a little pre-occupied talking to my son in the backseat and sure enough, probably the same trooper... I didn't even realize where I was in the moment. Didn't pull out after me. Paid for the install right there with the cost of the ticket and insurance increases.

I only take my extra Max360 with me in the touring and use waze... decided not to get the laser jammers installed since I probably don't drive it enough to warrant hacking the car up and when I do, it's on backroads where I rarely even see another car.

I'd suggest starting low key with the 360C + Waze. Waze is free and all you need is smart phone, you can try it out on your next drive to get a sense of the app. The 360C is a fairly simply to use with decent performance. The other good think about the 360 is the ticket guarantee - if you get hit and get a ticket, fill out the paperwork and they send you a check for the amount. Read the T&Cs but, it worked for me let's you recover most of the cost if you don't get the coverage you want - you can then sell it and try another product and you won't go backwards in terms of cash outlay.

Just to follow-up on this I bought the 360c, we will see how this goes. For those who did the blendmount install on the GT3 touring with no auto dimming mirrors which model is it ? they seem to have hundreds of them! Also the mount does not seem to come with a magnet in the pictures, is that right ? You need to re-use the one that comes with the suction mount ?

See the attached picture for reference - if you can’t identify / match the mirror you have with the ones in the picture, simply take a few snap shots of your mirror and email it to Blendmount.

The magnet is built into the Max 360C not the mount.

Sorry another question, for the hardwire install without the auto dimming mirror is looks like it is also possible to tap under the top panel where the reading lights are. Correct ?

@ LionelB - you may want to use the “ mirror / map light “ tap kit so you don’t have the escort power cord hanging in your line of site. See the info below.

The hardest part of the mirror tap install is getting the pins into the connector - its a tight fit but they do go in.
