Default new but unwanted 911R shifter - tax deductable!!

So I decided that I wanted a 911R shifter in my GT3 and ordered one from Suncoast, but upon receipt I decided that I didn't want it after all!

I could return it for the 25% re-stocking fee, but I thought maybe someone on RL might want it and a tax deduction for a charitable donation.

So the shifter was $989 from Suncoast, its still in the OEM box etc, never installed, if you would like to make a donation to www.muttville.org
in excess of $900 I will ship it to you directly (at no cost to you)

- get a sexy shifter
- get a tax deduction
- help some senior dogs find a forever home!

what could be better than that?

Thanks in advance

- larry

The R shifter is sweet - but I forgot that the shifter is covered in leather and not alacantara (which I have in my car)

hopefully someone with a leather interior and a big heart for old dogs will bite!

In other news I'm off to the 'Ring in a couple of weeks - PSDS and TF!!!

Hey Larry,

I'll do it at $600 (because I already donated - and will continue - donating to no-kill shelters and rescue groups).

Let me know if you agree.

Best,
Anton

His original offer seems pretty dang generous to me. You do realize at 25% restocking fee your offer is less than he can return for, and donate directly to the charity should he desire?

sorry, and thanks, but no. The shifter is *new*, never installed, and the donation is fully tax deductible for a good cause, I'll hold out for > $898.

No worries. I made an offer... I hope someone donates over $900. It is a great cause, and you are a good human for doing this!

Very nice gesture!!!!....great cause....but let's remember unless you itemize your deductions you can't write it off....with SALT capped at $10K less people itemize now....the $700 offer was a good one IMO
