Default ARTY PA | My Honest Review on JCR

Hello Everyone,

First and foremost, my name is Arty and this is my GT3RS. I got some things done to the car such as HRE wheels, GMG Roll Cage, Lowered, Full Body PPF, GTechniq CSL & EXOV4, and JCR Race Pipe. I will make a separate thread with pictures of the car if you guys want to see it but I'm keeping this one strictly for my review on JCR.

It's been about 3 weeks I've had the exhaust on the car so I've had some time to drive and come to a conclusion on the exhaust. I have it listed in different sections.

JCR Race Pipe (Non Valved)

Customer Service: 10/10
Jonny is one hell of a guy and business man. He is top notch and his knowledge for these cars are through the roof. Before ordering the exhaust, I had a lot of questions regarding his products since I didn't know what route to go with. He explained everything to me without any delays and provided me with all the answers I needed.

Quality: 10/10
This is the first titanium exhaust I have ever purchased so when I received the package and took the exhaust out of the box, I was amazed on much it weighed. (Felt like holding an Apple Keyboard). The welds and craftsmanship of the exhaust is ridiculous and perfect. Quality is the best I've seen and I can't see how it can be topped.

Sound: 10/10
Now this is the best part. When Jonny told me it sounds like a RSR, I was like okay it does but how can it right? I was wrong. This thing is freaking ridiculous. Cold starts are loud, like waking up your neighbors type loud which for me is not an issue because all 4 of my neighbors have supercars that are loud. Once the car is warmed up, the idle is louder than stock of course but nothing crazy which is a good thing. At low RPM"s, there is a bit of a drone but nothing too crazy. I hate drone but this is barely noticeable. After driving the car and found an area that I can launch the car, I was like HOLY SH**, I've never heard anything like this before. It truly has that RSR sound that Jonny said which is amazing. The exhaust sounds nothing like in the videos I can tell you that. Video only picks up 10% of what it actually sounds like. If anyone in the LA area wants to hear it in person, PM me and we can meet up.

I HIGHLY recommend Jonny and stand behind his company JCR. He's got my business for life.

I have now ordered a Valved Race Pipe along with the Inconel Race Manifolds so I can control the sound. If anyone wants to buy the Race Pipe from me, PM me!

I have some iPhone recorded videos for you guys but I got a video production company that did a full video on the car with audio which will be ready by the end of the week. I will post that here once I get my hands on it.

Sounds awesome, but do you live in CA? If so, say bye bye to that amazing sounding exhaust, lol.

So with their headers and race-pipe, how do you pass SMOG?

parts of the state do. If you live in Atlanta proper you do for cars 3+ model years. (me). 10 years ago it was easier to get a shop to fudge a report - but they really cracked down on it and went after the shop and the owner. I sold my highly modified 965 as a result. Kept getting harder to get a certificate.

It sounds super cool but it's way too loud. I would be embarrassed to drive anywhere but on a race track with it that loud. (and race tracks are becoming more and more strict on noise...)
And in CA now they are cracking down on modified exhaust systems... no more than 95db....that's got to be 110db!

Re quality, you gave it 10/10. Please post some pictures of the exhaust itself the show the welds, etc. Thanks.

I want to put headers on my car, but needing cats seems to kill most of the benefit. Makes more sense for me to invest in private driving instruction. I have a sneaking feeling I'm not getting the most out of my car as it sits now! (by a longs shot to be sure). That being said, JCR and Dundon seem like the right places to go. Great clips.

I've had similar experiences with my race pipe from JCR! Excellent sound, excellent quality, and absolutely exceptional customer service.

I'm pairing their race pipe with their headers as soon as they can ship it out! Can't wait
