Has anyone done the Cascade loop? I'm planning on doing it over 4th of July weekend in one day just to blast through it. Anybody else interested in joining me?

I don't know what roads the Cascade loop covers, but I drove my GT3 over HWY 2 from Bellevue last July and it was spectacular! I continued on thru Wenatchee, with my final destination that day being Pendleton, Oregon. Drove on some incredible back roads in Eastern Washington/Oregon that day. Wish I could join you, but won't be up there in July this year.

Just got back from 3 day business trip in the Everett, Bellingham, Anacortes area. Damn it was beautiful - high 70's, sunshine, blue skies, great roads and stunning scenery. Can't make the trip but what a place when the weather is good!! Enjoy!!

It's an all day thing--a long day if you also do the island part and have to deal with the ferry and potential slower parts. Sticking to I-5 makes it more reasonable.

Yes, I agree if you swing up through Anacortes and down you are looking at about 8 hours. But I think once we reach I-5 we charge south back to Seattle or we have lunch/dinner at the oyster house off of chuckanut drive. These cars are not going to drive themselves so it is our duty as Porsche patrons to let these horsies run

I’m very interested- not sure of my schedule over the holiday weekend, but keep us in the loop as you plan the details. I’m in Portland but would love to do the drive.

Here's a link to Washington's scenic drives. Leavenworth is always a great stop on Highway 2.

Further to the North Cascades, but perhaps go counter clockwise like this
https://goo.gl/maps/TFiBVM4Af49iT2UW9
.
Hot shots in Lynnwood allows an easy meeting place from 405 or I5 ,
the back roads to HWY 20 through Darrington rarely have cops.
Never want to miss the overlook view at Ross Lake Dam showing two lakes with completely different colors
Winthrop has a great Cowboy theme to the town, perfect for lunch stop,
Entiat is a fruit stand haven - you must stop,
Wenatchee has Costco gas,
Leavenworth for an afternoon refreshment in a Bavarian themed town
When I ran this for the Ferrari Club we made a 3 day overnight trip out of it, staying at Sun Mountain Lodge one night and then Lake Chelan (great wineries)
