Default What's The 1st Go to Mod For Your Porsche 911 GT3?

What was the first mod that you did on your Porsche 911 when you got it?

I almost always go with window tint or suspension or exhaust.

Here is what I did first on my new GT3 I got a couple of weeks ago.

Loving the car so far!!!

Why do window tint on a sports car? It dangerously affects visibility, especially if you intend to enjoy track events.Leave window tint for people who are ashamed to be seen in the car they're driving!

I like the look of the car with the window tint, and also it keeps the car a bit cooler in the summer...
Also, depending on the type of window tint you get, the visibility is not bad at all. Also, for visibility reasons, I never tint my front window. But I'm sure people will argue pros and cons on every car mod.

My first mod was a set of Forgeline ZH1 wheels closely followed by a set of Dundon catted headers.

All season tires on winter wheels, cocomats, and a wood steering wheel when I first got it.

Only other mod was a sheepskin vest type seat cover for my LWB.

Pretty much perfect for my use now.

1. clear led side markers - my sales rep delivered the car with them already on. He knew I wouldn't want the amber ones.
2. IPE exhaust - no I have JCR race pipe(must have mod)

Wait what? Anywho.... have had car exactly 6 weeks to the day, so far in order.

1. Trackspec auto seat bracket
2. Rennline track mats (OCD was killing me stepping on cf
3. Wind deflectors
4. Ceramic tint. Legal all around.
5. GMG center section
6. Techart pedal kit, manual with footrest (here tomorrow)
7. Numeric short shifter (waiting to see if group buy is a go)
8. P1 Designs seat inserts. (Should be here within 2 weeks)
9. BBS Magnesium wheels (should also be here in 2 weeks)

Possibly changing GMG to JCR full race in near future and adding antigravity battery whenever they come back in stock.

Nice list of mods you have there sir

So far I have been modding too... Here is my list:
  1. Window tint - Ceramic 35% on sides and rear
  2. Center delete exhaust (MBRP or MRBP)
  3. Wrapped roof of the car gloss black and door handles black. Looks sick!

+1 tint does not belong on a track car, save it for the turbo s

Well, since these are street cars I guess it shouldn’t matter then, huh? You guys act like these are full on race cars... most MOST people drive these as a toy or C&C cars, or whatever.., tint is not going to detract from their value as an occasional track car.
