Default GMG Long tube headers

Anyone have any experience? I'm thinking about a set for my .1RS. Love to hear any impressions? I have their center delete on my car now.

Heard it at Rennsport Reunion last year. Sounded ridic. I also have the GMG center bypass on my RS.1 and .2 RS and love it.

any full race head, non cat, with a center delete would be outrageously loud. I have full long tubes with valved side deletes, factory center, its really loud when you are on it. but sound amazing. full length headers are really a great add. you gain power and torque and they sound amazing. I don't have GMG but i am sure they are nice.

Thanks. GMG is recommending I keep the center delate and side mufflers with the headers. Dundon seems to like the sides deleted and the center installed.

The side mufflers are terrible, dump them. go with dundon or fabspeed. nothing against the GMG stuff, but the side deletes are one of the best weight savers and you get the heat off the rear tires. No drone with the valve side deletes, plus the transition is minimal. so not extreme change, really smooth

I have the Dundon catted headers on my 991.2 with the stock center. I plan to add the Dundon Black muffler. I've heard this combo and it is outstanding.

I believe I chased your Pumpkin all over the North GA mountains at Smokies? It sounded amazing.

Just a heads up, removing the side mufflers will make the exhaust EXTREMELY LOUD, and while it may be fun for a few days, most decide it's too loud for street use......just some feedback we have heard from plenty of users, etc.

My understanding was that deleting the side mufflers and retaining the stock center muffler still retains the factory valve functionality, meaning the exhaust is still fairly tame until ~3500 RPM when the valves open, and all hell breaks loose. Is this the case?

I would enquire bbi about something they are working on. In theory none of the offerings will make more power.

My car is pretty quiet until the valves, and cold start up. There is less drone with the headers and valved side deletes, than when I just had the valved side deletes and factory headers. I think there is no drone really, the transition is not as ON/OFF as before, blended is a better term. I don't really have any experience with GMG headers, I am sure they work, but putting headers on a side muffler is like putting **** on a BULL.
