There's nothing sane about serious weight loss.
Look forward to seeing this build.
Know a guy doing beryllium calipers for 991 GT cars. If you have to ask.....
Don't forget titanium springs.
While this is motorcycle-related, it's also weight-related.. and specifically unsprung weight. Check out these motogp calipers.. I'm putting them on a bike build I'm doing.. about half of the weight of a traditional monoblock.. even drilled out pistons.. this is where all the weight saving funds should go for your project, reducing wheel, rotor and caliper weight if possible-all unsrpung weight which is worth 4x any other reduction.

Just an update, kind of hijacked the r vs gt3t thread. This is current weight of my manual winged GT3. Another 40-50lbs would be ideal for what I was originally trying to accomplish and most likely doable. To lose another 168 is probably not happening, at least not anytime soon.
3240 - 200(me) + 128(gas) = 3168 total.
mag wheels
anyigravity
dundon street headers/ stock center
buckets
pccb
bose
sound deadening, Bose, RS rear glass and titanium center would be next on list.
