So $205 plus the $9. Seems like a great deal for a no hassle, no test driving, payment clearing sale.

Would I be correct to assume the RS cars will fetch more a year from now than now (assuming the same mileage) as the remaining "new" inventory is sold while the next RS is still a year or two away.

The msrp of my car is 220k as well. I have not asked for a trade in number, but 10-20k below msrp is what I have been hearing for trade in values currently.
I think your offer is reasonable and you may be able to squeeze in 5k more if you’re lucky. With the trade tax savings I think you should go ahead with the trade and be prepared to lose a whole lot more on your G wagon in 5 minutes.

Next 992 GT3 is at least 18 months away to get to customer hands, and the 992 GT3RS won't be here for another 2+ years, so the only supply will be the used market as unsold new units are moving (as dealer come to their senses on the ADM craziness)
My only GT3 was a 996, all others have been RS. The RS has such a nice resale (but I buy the RS because I like anything Porsche that has RS on it since the 70s).

OP - delivery mile GT3RS' are being offered at or just over MSRP regularly... Your deal sounds more than fair and there's probably only one way the prices on the RS' are heading in the near term, so taking that deal now sounds like the right move IMO.
FWIW, there are no results for 2019 GT3RS' on Manheim / MMR, but even if there were, it's too hard to determine MSRP for a proper comparison.

205k is a good offer, take that money and grab the G wagon if that is what you want. Best I have received is 200k so I think your offer is more than fair. If you were offered 190, I would walk.
Sadly, the dealer that I bought my car from had one of the worst offers!!!
