Its pretty expected when you look at the lack of rubber on the 600lt haha. I just know I've never had more fun in a modern day performance oriented car (so not including the 911r which has a different purpose) than my LT. It's literally an adult giggle factory...

Lol, Porsche witchcraft. How exactly does a twin turbo, carbon tubbed car with 100 more wheel HP, 150 lbs less weight and costing over 50k more made by a formula 1 specialist manage to lap slower than an RS?

yeah, 305 vs 325. Must make a difference but I'm guessing Macca didn't throw a similar width on their ultimate track version of the sports series cause it did unflattering things to the overall balance.

But which one is more fun to drive? LT sounds like a handful and sometimes thats a good thing. Hard to beat 3RS noises and precision though.

I'd guess front tires are more to blame than rears.

What? The 600LT has 225 and 285 tires (smaller than GT4 on both axles that has 245/295, not to mention GT3 with 245/305, and GT3 RS the subject of the comparison has 265 and 325).

Nobody does a twin-turbo V8 better than McLaren. Spins to 8500 RPM, and sounds amazing. They somehow figured out how to make a TT V8 sound better than anyone else's. It's an amazing car, no doubt.

I'd imagine they are wildly different experiences from behind the wheel. Put them on the same rubber compound, and it's still going to be very, very close lap times. Two different tools for the same job. I honestly can't blame people for choosing any McLaren these days, they are all clearly amazing driver's cars, with stupid performance.

That said, I'm committed to good ole flat-6 NA howl as long as I can have it.....
