GT3 RS market softening has arrived.

Are you kidding???? with no contract or anything signed?? What did almost every stealer do over the past 2-3 years when a customer had the dealer's verbal promise for an low number allocation at sticker? So many horror stories of them passing those folks over for those willing to pay ADM. The shoe is now on the other foot!
kind of conflicted on this, if you expect dealers to stick to their verbal promise, you really shouldn't go back on your own, however if the "market" has dropped, you should renegotiate based on this as they sold it to you at a "market" price. Thats the problem when cars are looked upon as a commodity with a "market" rather than a toy with a fixed price

I only look at the GT3/GT3RS forum occasionally b/c my neighbour has a nice GT silver with WP & he was one of the first guys in Canada to get a .2 GT3RS. I'm curious what the .2 GT3RS production #'s are, b/c live in a small CDN city & there's numerous cars arriving at lone small dealership. GT4's in Canada are quite limited, & it's unusual to actually see one around town. An employee I know at Porsche here said numerous GT3 RS's are arriving. She's seen no less than 10 in the last month or so. The dealer has been selling slightly used ones ~ MSRP already & it's early in the year??

Advice needed.
Spec'd an RS. About to be delivered. Dealer wanted ADM at the time of ordering (no contract or anything signed). Fast forward months and months to today where ADMs are either much lower or non-existent.
What do you do? Try to renegotiate the ADM upon delivery to dealership or what? Only way that would work is if you're prepared to walk and let them sell the car to someone else?

I have been kicking around getting an Aventador or 488, and have received multiple quotes for my low-mileage .2 GT3RS. Best I have got is 20k under MSRP.
I think dealers who paid over for these at trade are holding a bag and likely won't get that money back.
I doubt I will trade though, as the GT3RS was the dream car. Who knows why I have a lambo/ferrari itch...

What I don't want to have happen is I try to renegotiate when the car arrives and the dealer says hey well we have 10 other people lined up for this car at this price if you don't want it. Bye, Felicia.
