Are all speedster allocations in?

Do all dealerships have their allocations by now or are some still waiting to be given some remaining ones? I am curious because I haven't been given an answer one way or the other. I am not counting on one but would like a definitive answer.

Were all allocations released at once?

Doubt all 1948 have been released.

Just spoke to my SA here in the San Francisco Bay Area. He thinks they received all of their allocations. They got 5, but only 2 are sold. PM me if you want contact info.

So your dealer is selling them to the highest bidder?

Don't think I'd put it that way, they mostly likely will have an ADM, but don't know what that will be. I think production begins in August.

I believe all dealers in North America were made aware of their allocations awhile ago.

Thought September was first month of production, but you may be correct.

It was only a guess by the SA. I swear they hear news last. I had to tell my SA that the Tourings were a go, back in mid 2017.

Sorry, this post was a mistake and don't know how to delete...

Mine is a July build yet strangely doesn't show arrival until October. It's a full heritage spec so not sure if that impacts timing?

Porsche (and Germany) is closed for August. Urlaub.

Afaik all allocations have been given out to US dealers.

However, all the cars that VIPs pass on will be reallocated back to dealerships, so a few more will be available.

RDM2418 05-30-2019 04:18 PM

Production has started. I did the factory tour on Monday and saw 2 GR speedsters on the assembly line, 2 silver on the line, and 3 more silver outside. 2 were heritage with white paint at the front. Also saw 2 GT2 club sport cars on the assembly line.

I thought VIP had to claim on May 1 or something so the total would be known to US dealers after VIP yes/no?

I'm not familiar with the timing of these things, but I know dealerships have told folks that were next on the list after all their allocations were given out that there was still a very small chance they might get one when PCNA redistributes allocations that VIPs have passed on. We're not talking about a lot of cars here, it's more of a D&D 'so you're saying there's a chance' situation.

Again, this is to the best of my knowledge.
