I’m looking for great driving routes that will start and finish in Santa Barbara. Suggestions appreciated.

From SB, I'd take the back roads to Ojai and then take the 33 which is one of the best driving roads in So Cal. That will lead you into the central valley. From there, you can head west toward the 101 and take it back to SB. The 101 north of SB is pretty in its own right but watch out for speed traps. Another option is to take the 154 from SB over to Santa Ynez Valley and then take some of the back roads in wine country. Very scenic and numerous very tasty wine tasting rooms to choose from, if that is your thing.
