“Basically” implies that it was previously purchased and thus not untitled. This does make a difference, Also, offers and sold are different. While there may be aberrations, the majority of these cars are at the adm indicated. They also seem to be holding on to a firmer price on 2019 build. Cars without W package or without lwbs or lightly optioned seem less firm. Despite a few listers continually indicating that the sky has fallen, and maybe they will, on these prices, the reality is that they have not yet and the dealers are holding firm. Moreover, many cars listed are not really available and are used as click bait.

Holding firm is a best case scenario going fwd - 2rs and 3rs (for a while at least). Dealer wholesale/trade-in numbers are continuing to go lower despite what advertised retail prices show. Some won't buy at all now and only offering consignment.

Seems like Porsche decided to capture some of the willingness to pay by setting a pretty damn high MSRP on the GT2RS (IMHO). Even at MSRP it's an inarguably expensive car. Maybe worth it and all but it's a lot of dinero. My .1 RS had an MSRP of $189K. There was a lot of room for ADM at those types of numbers (as was obviously proven by the .1RS market).

For me - it doesn't much matter whether I'm paying sticker price dollars or ADM dollars. The question for me is do I want the car and am I willing to have $350K, $375K or whatever tied up in a GT2RS. Hasn't called out to me at those prices regardless of how the dealer got to the number.

^^^agree. After a while, MSRP isn't relevant. It's just total dollars and it's a lot of 'em. It's beyond my pain threshold for what I'd feel comfortable flogging at a track consistently and I don't have interest in it as a pure street car. I've decided to keep slumming it in the 3rs just around 200ish; still NOT cheap and I'll just have to be OK with a 2rs blowing by me on straights like I'm standing still

This is the internet.....there are A LOT of people on here that will always be "waiting for prices to drop" on every GT car....in reality that sounds better than "I really can't afford it at any price".....
Let's be real, if you can afford $350K you can likely afford $400K.....if you have to stretch to buy any of these cars in reality you can't afford it.....there are plenty of people that buy high ticket cars and sell because what they thought they can afford they can't.....

It would seem that a 2RS will trade at a few dollars over MSRP right now. I doubt the bottom will fall out ever. Most of people who own them don't have to sell at a loss. It is a lot of money, but my favorite RS ever. I traded a '19 3RS for it. I think it is worth it if you can afford it.

if sky is falling ppl would just spend the time working instead of on here RLsting, then the $200k adm would have been paid for and they be driving.
I like to time when APPL will hit $1500 rather than when GT2RS will be sold at invoice.

I agree that the bottom won't fall out of any of the .2 GT cars, whether it's the GT2RS or the GT3RS. All I'm saying is that both cars will trade below MSRP this year, not way below. There's a lot of shadow inventory sitting on dealer lots and sooner or later dealers will bend and reduce their dreamer asking prices. Heck, we've seen several PTS cars listed on RL that aren't selling at $50k over.

I traded my 997 GT3RS and my 2016 GT3RS plus cash for my GT2RS. Answer is yes.

There have been plenty transacting at sticker to 20k over...there are 4500 plus in the world, thats not nearly a surprise.

I kept my manual 18' GT3 and traded my '19RS for a GT2RS at MSRP. So the answer is yes. If I had to I would have traded the GT3 as well. To me, The 2RS is that much more fun. The answer is yes. Besides there really is no penalty to going backwards if you need or want to. Plenty of GT3's and RS's around.
