PCNA doesn’t care. It’s apparent.

They continue to give premium allocations to dealerships like Arlington cause they move GT cars. Customer service / satisfaction be damned.

There is a reason Porsche is the most profitable car company....

very few ppl in sales have brain cells.
if I am in sales, and KNOW that car will sell go for a million and better investment than 918... hell I get a few friends max out credit card and buy the thing. then flip for 1mm.
why would they only settle for the commission?

just like trades, all good deals are insider trading.
if it's that good, I sure wont let anyone else know it...

is that not very obvious?

Too much common sense in this post, that is the problem.

In typical scenarios, the Sales Manager must approve all sales. On cars like this, where the dealership expects to make at least a $100K, the approval may be the owner of the dealership.

Porsche Arlington is simply not the best dealer, probably one of the worst and rudest I've seen.........

I guess the allocations I was offered at 100k were great deals, right?! Porsche is only making close to 2k of these cars

I understand the show.
OP said sales stipulated this will be a $1MM car (which It will not) and it's investment grade.
that's a very large profit way more than the ADM
if I am smart enough to make enough money to become a owner of the dealership, I sure am smart enough to blow plenty of smoke and mirrors to have the car sold to my clone and flip $1mm.
my point is not about approval of sales by the executives but more about the sales ppl lying.
lying is an art. if I am swindled by a good lie, I concede. but this is just dumb lie. my 5 year old can cover his behind way better than this sales guy.

I vote for this as the best quote of the day! LOL!

Weak azzes, PCNA controls the car...they can teach bad stealers a lesson or two if they wanted to just like Ferrari has done over the years.

You are half right. Arlington gets GT allocations not because they move GT cars, but because they sell regular 911s, along with Macan, Cayenne and Panameras.

This is the reason why Arlington gets more GT cars than smaller dealers, let's say, like Porsche Fresno. It's all about the regular 911 sales.

If the car is actually available then there are no takers among the known clientele and so it’s being throw out there to whomever will bite on their terms. There will be more of this nonsense as the 1948 mark approaches, a lot more.

This will be just like 2RS. $150k or more ADM ask (best I have heard is $80k), then at the end there will be lots of “dealer spec” builds sitting on lots and preowned with <1000 miles close to sticker. I won’t buy one without an allocation because who would build a car like me? Answer: no one. 👨*🌾

Also, Porsche may be hip to the game because it seems like PTS closed like the day after allocations for sept opened. Maybe someone wants a heritage package with 48 on the doors and every option and every leather option ticked, but it is not me. I want another retiree green stripper.
