Default Lbs saved by Speedster parts

Anyone know just how much weight is respectively saved by the CF frunk lid, and CF front fenders on the Speedster ?

i understand the exhaust is 22lbs lighter than the GT3 exhaust system, but haven’t seen numbers for the frunk and fenders.

Isn't the Speedster heavier than the GT3? You thinking of swapping your GT3 parts with Speedster parts?

speedster is overall about 130 lbs heavier than a manual GT3, mainly due to stiffening frame for cab, etc.

I’m looking at all options to lighten my car. Definitely doing a lithium battery next month, likely side muffler delete later this summer. Those two together shave 75-80 lbs off my car and are the two most cost effective ways to lighten a GT car.

Im curious as to how much weight you lose with the CF Speedster parts. I would consider it, but less likely to actually do it as it’s likely much less cost effective compared to my primary two weight mods.

Still wondering how much weight loss you could achieve with the Speedster parts, though.

The only compatible parts with a GT3 I can think of would be the fenders and frunk lid. If you look at AP’s 911R video he states how much each thing saved and says the fenders and frunk save 4kg. Btw, sit down before looking at how much they cost from parts.

Agree the price is likely insane to save about 10lbs.

Just curious if they did anything different on the speedster vs the R as the speedster is a .2 GT3 generation car.

btw, which AP video are you referring to with the R? Evo?

My car lost about 107 lbs between lithium battery, wheels, and exhaust. Everything else after that isn’t really cost effective, like carbon parts or gorilla rear and side window. Yeah, I looked in to it

Which wheels did you choose, cost? And weight savings?

This is exactly the right way to do it..Braille i48 battery,JCR titanium race pipe and BBS Fi Rs. Total saving over 50Kg with a better driving GT3 in the bargain..

its double weight saving as those parts will shave same amount of weight from your pocket. my guess is about two kilograms of dollars

Some form of ceramic rotors or light calipers for to maximize the unsprung weight reduction achieved with the FI-R's should be part of this maximized lb saved/$ equation.
