I have the quiet Dundon GT3 muffler that I can put on the car but I'll check if Vali has turn away pipes laying around.

If Vali doesn't have them, check with Chasen at SP. I am sure he has something.

If nobody has this I'd suggest that Jonny at JCR ship the tips to an existing customer that has the side deletes so they can test at LS (turning off their track nanny). If it passes sound at LS I will throw down for a set of the tips immediately - I'm just too lazy to order the parts, book a track day, test get a meatball and then head home and have to ship parts back to the UK or sell online for a loss. *hint* Jonny
Are you heading to Laguna any time soon?

Unfortunately not. I'd need to install the track nanny so if so do blow sound that at least I could make use of the rest of my track day.

You loose some of the effectiveness of the GPS when you're running side deletes. The OEM side mufflers do most of the heavy lifting deadening sound in the OEM system. As much as I too want to get rid of the side mufflers on my car for the heat/weight advantages that setup: Soul valved side deletes with GPS / OEM center / Soul silenced turn down tips, was the worst I tried sound wise.

The gps unit is totally worthless with side muffler delete. The valves that control the sound reside in the side mufflers.

@orthojoe wins the day for the best most informative and succinct post.

it's worth noting the dundon center muffler has been tested with a '15 GT3 @ laguna with side deletes and passed sound at a 92 db day.

Granted the biggest sound deadening unit are the sides vs center muffler but if you have valved side deletes and force the valves (with a gps device) you'd still be passing the exhaust through the longer route of the center muffler so it must have some affect on sound level??

Yes, aftermarket valved side mufflers will still do something with the gps box. Complete deletion of the side mufflers means the gps box is connected to nothing

I'll add that if you have side muffler deletes, but they are valved, the GPS box will still do something since the exhaust flow will be traveling a longer path through the center muffler, but you would still have no chance of passing a 92 or 90 db day on an otherwise stock exhaust.
