I'm going to this. Anyone know if a .2 RS with GMG center delete will be ok on a 103 event? I'm told by my shop that all the racers he supports are going with straight pipes during the same event. So do they not actually measure on 103 days? Seems to me that any straight pipe race car will go way over 103.

There was a 991 cup car at the HOD 103db event last week that was passing. I didn't talk to him so I don't know if he was doing anything special. I left the GPS active on my car because a guy there told me he blew a 105 with his car with CMB and no GPS. They do measure.

Does a bone stock .2 GT3 not pass 92db? Not Laguna but I'm going to Tremblant very soon and I heard they're getting a bit more enthusiastic about measurements (multiple locations as opposed to just the front straight) - what's the easiest next thing after the track GPS? Turn down pipes?

my bone stock 2018 911 gt3 991.2 did not pass a 92 db day @ laguna.

my ‘18 GT3 has passed sound @ 90 db day with a dundon quiet center muffler with turn aways

the gps solution also works from what i’ve seen and from what i’ve been told.

Yah, which exhaust do you have? GPS module?

I have the JCR valved side delete and stock center on my 991.2, I've been avoiding LS as I don't want the hassle of sound.

Bolting on the muffler tips and passing sound would open this track up for me

I have Fabspeed valued side deletes and stock center and have always avoided LS but we can’t live in NorCal and not track there so that’s why I was looking at gps and turnaway pipes. But as you say if these bolt on silencers could help pass sound they would become very attractive!!

I did speak to JCR about them and they thought they would get me down to under 92 but, they don't have experience at LS being a UK company... So itching for some tales from the front line.

Lol, only $1300 plus + shipping + track day fees + restocking fee + gas to find out the answer.
