Default GT2 being chased at Spa

Interesting video wonder if faster driver would have done better.

Absolutely a better driver could have lost that Supra. I don't care what it dynos...it has effectively no modern aero and there is no way its brakes and chassis will ever compare to a modern 911. It might win the odd drag race but it's not winning at a track anywhere, even with unlimited mods.

The Manthey version of 2RS was about 10 seconds faster than the Best Lap on the display in the vid:

Thats impressive!!

I love both platforms but I find it remarkable that an old supra can be up there with the King

Agree. First 2 min the GT2 was putting some good space between them and at 1:48 the GT2 pulls away nicely.

That Supra was well driven and he had a boost increase button on the steering wheel.
I had to drive hard to pass him, he was lapping in the low 2:40’s (on slicks) and he hadn’t been there in 7 years.

Nice guy and really had that Supra set up right and stripped down.

Slowly driven 2RS...our own TrackCar who has only done Spa a handful of times is 6-7 sec faster in a 3RS than this 2RS. Maybe it's the 2RS driver 1st time out or so or he is just checking things out and not going for it? Who knows the variables of the actual driver....one thing I can say is...they are driving at Spa...having fun...and we are not...! HA!

The 2RS driver was probably more concerned about going home in one piece than "winning"....Hopefully he had fun....that's all that counts

I remember driving with an instructor and he would constantly tell me....."trust the car"....tough to do sometimes

This is great that you saw him in action. He looks like he def knows what he's doing and love the fact that an oldie can hang with the current fastest gt models

The Gt2 wasn’t hardly trying, probably didn’t even know the Supra was there until he let him by.
