That's too bad. I just got another 720, spider this time and kept the GT3.

I know. I've tried to delete a LOT of stuff. Idk why it's still saying it's full. I think must be a glitch I need to reach out to RL support regarding.

To give you an idea the wing of the GT2 RS is ridiculous compared to the 992 RS :-)
Totally new car in term of aero, NA engine 100% in range 540/560HP, it will be faster than a 991 GT2 rs on the ring for sure, the development will start soon...

2021 delivery
Do you think 2021 delivery is still relevant ?

The 720 is a cool car for sure . The problem I had was terrible build quality, customer service and reliability. It’s my second Mclaren and I had numerous problems with both. A used 720 is now approaching the value of a 991.2 GT3RS. I guess I’ll sacrifice some brute speed for the overall package of the GT3RS.

the 991.2 GT3 RS is an extraordinary machine : power/chassis/PDK and sounds everything is perfect . I love it
But if I keep it, it will make 3 991 in my garage. Lucky man, I have also a 991 R.

So I'm wondering if:
  1. the 992 GT3 RS will be as good or better than the 991.2 GT3 RS?
992 GT3 RS will be better. That's a given.

Re: your current stable, order of preference from keep to let go:

1. 4.0 RS
2. Speedster
3. 991.2 GT3 RS
4. 911R

I am in the process of trading my 720s in for a .2 RS. Both of my McLarens have been great (I had a 570s spider before), but man do they depreciate quickly. My $352 sticker is going for low $2's a year and 2500 miles later.

I feel like you definitely want to buy Macs used, not new. I was really tempted to get a 765LT before COVID, but now no way. I’ll wait a year or two and get one used.

Yeah my RS is like a tank Porsche build quality is second to none my opinion. I had a 720S loaner when my 675LT was being serviced had it for 5 days, and it’s crazy fast but I was so happy to get back in my 675LT which is built pretty good.

Seb: can you elaborate on your wing comment? Not quite clear what this means. Aware of swan neck but are you saying it's also much larger than current GT2 RS wing?

A 720 sold in the UK for something like £125k during a recent online auction. 5k miles. Different market to the US but still.

Looking forward to seeing the new RS mule. I took Seb's comments to mean more sophisticated aero without the cartoon massive wing on the back. That would imply more underbody and maybe active aero tricks, S duct, etc?

Curious how you feel about patronizing McLaren again (by buying new) - would you spin the wheel again?

They may cut production numbers like they did with the Elva.

I anticipate owning another Mclaren one day, however, I will stick to the limited LT cars and wouldn't buy new again.

Production and numbers will be delayed and cut. Seems painfully obvious to me but hey, I’m just me.
