Is your GT3, Touring or RS titled correctly by Porsche USA?

I shopped rates after this - and just switched.
Saved 20+% and receive better coverage with Erie. They also properly labeled my 2019 as a GT3T....

I just spent a 3 day ordeal with USAA and traversed three layers of their insurance team, ending at Executive branch.
Bottom line, they are drones to the schedule they have in their possession which does not show any GT3 and I must pay GT3RS rates.
No paperwork will convince them.
You got that right.

THANK YOU , and BTW, Thank You again!
Geico correctly classifies my VIN as a GT3 AND they beat USAA by over $600 per year, now we're looking into house and other auto discounts....
Did I mention it already? Thank YOU
Here is the crazy stuff, Geico's agent automatically populated my GT3 by VIN and model. Obviously insurance companies are very well connected
Thank you

All paperwork now states GT3 for my car. USAA insurance is getting shelved for GEICO because USAA would not accept the Porsche letter claiming my Touring is a GT3 rather than GT3 RS

I got insurance for my GT3T yesterday. I told the Amica rep about the VIN issue and forwarded her the letter that Chris at PCNA sent me. She is going to let me know if the rate is actually lower because it is a GT3 and not a GT3 RS. Keep you posted on what she says.

If they don't, they are being rigid also and you may want to call GEICO and see what a competitor might charge.
Far above in the thread, a kind soul recommended GEICO and this last week I completed changing all car/property policies for a net result of $1400 savings per year.

Agent_Orange, I will keep you posted. Not going to change insurance, though. I have been very happy with Amica over the years. They also have my home insurance, umbrella and my watch insurance (it's a pretty nice watch). I was happy with the quote I got, even if it is a "GT3 RS" quote. A discount off of that would be gravy. I am paying less than $200 a month for my GT3T insurance (because it is not my daily driver; the insurance for my 2016 GTS is actually higher by $100 per month because it is my DD). Combined, I am paying about $500 a month to insure a 2016 GTS and a 2019 GT3T. $500 deductible and a $1,000,000 uninsured/underinsured motorist policy. I sprung for the higher "UIM" policy because, being an orthopaedic doc, almost every week, I see patients who are involved in MVAs or pedestrian versus MVAs or hit and runs in which the person at fault as no insurance or very crappy insurance, or they take off altogether. UIM also covers me if I get hit by someone who drives into an outdoor cafe, for instance, while I am sitting there (and they have little to no insurance or they somehow take off). You'd be amazed at how commonly people bail after injuring someone here in LA. Very troubling. Anyway, for those looking for insurance, I highly suggest Amica. They tend to run higher than others but their service is outstanding and they are consistently rated one of the top insurance providers across the board.

@Porsche911GTS'16 For comparison’s sake, I’m also with Amica and pay around $1600 a year for my GT3 Touring. I have another daily driver, as does my wife. They carry all of our other insurance as well. We’re in NorCal.
