After a RY 991.2GT3 and a GR GT4 i've decided i want a period in a stealthy understated GT Porsche..So i'm getting a Black RS with the Weissach pack and Platinum Mag wheels..Its well specced with LEDs,Lift,Bose and Silver stitched leather..
I can't wait especially after finding out it'll have the ITBs..

The throttle response you observed Stout is interesting. I have always disliked electronic throttle bodies (aka drive by wire), maybe it was the Audi that tried to kill me when the throttle body stuck open (the immediate stick your toe under and lift the pedal obviously has no effect), but more likely I always felt that there was a smidge of lag. My theory being that no throttle actuator could open as quickly as mashing a pedal connected to cable to a butterfly. In fact, the best throttle response I ever experienced was on an MFI long hood. Maybe the ITBs open more quickly or maybe it is the shorter distance to the combustion chamber, regardless, I believe your impression.

Wow! What colour is that? Also looks like the satin white gold colour from the GT2 RS on the mag wheels?

Are we certain that the new steel exhaust with the filters is 20% lighter than the old Titanium exhaust with mufflers? Could be that the 20% porsche is quoting is comparing the old GT3 steel exhaust with the new steel one rather than vs the titanium one of the RS?

Anyone know the actual weights of the old Titanium Gen2 RS exhaust and the new Speedster/RS steel one? I know the mufflers are heavy but swapping out a titanium exhaust plus mufflers for s steel one plus filters AND saving 20% of the weight is impressive if true.

Pretty sure the comparison is to steel GT3 exhaust.

Was told it's vs the steel Gt3 exhaust. Which makes sense.

There is hardly any difference in weight between the RS's exhaust and the GT3's steel version IIRC..The only part of the Rs's exhaust which is Ti is the Tips and part of the rear muffler.
I'll be replacing the rear muffler and tips of my upcoming RS with JCR's Titanium center delete and tips..As the new RS will have a SS in these two parts its even more beneficial to fit JCR's exhaust.

Incorrect.
"despite the addition of the two particulate filters, this version is almost 20% lighter than the familiar titanium exhaust system thanks to newly developed manufacturing process."

Perhaps I’m one of the first ones taking delivery of the “991.3” GT3 RS EU version.... Build date is now set to June 19th with delivery around four weeks later / UNLESS they choose to take it out of the normal loop for quality control. Nevertheless, I will make sure to share all I can asap.
Dealer is still in the dark when it comes to final specs.... and believe me, they are as frustrated as we are....

This is so crazy, that the last bit of a model run has such a significant engine spec change, and yet there is no model name differentiation.

While j don't believe in "investment" when it comes to mass-produced cars, I do think that whoever gets one of these unicorn-level end of series 991.2 GT3 RS with the ITB will have something of a treasure in their hands.

In 30 years.. Rennlist will have mass convos and interest in this storyline.

My OPCs on-line configurator was only updated last week precisely May 23rd..It clearly states under 'Standard Equipment' the engine changes including ITBs as i posted above...However what hasn't been updated is the 'Technical data' page on their configurator..

I agree with you on this highly significant engineering revision..I'm now even more excited to take delivery of mine now all the speculation regarding the engine has been clarified.
