15 GT3 with high copper in oil
After 2 track events over 5 days my local P car Indy noticed a lot of copper in the oil. I spoke to my local dealer and they need to do their own sample and told me to go to my next event which is tomorrow at lime rock.
I don’t have an actual cooper count but Sam from Elite knows his stuff. I will view the sample later today. Only copper parts are the main bearing and rod bearings correct? My car has the original engine. Any info would be appreciated. |

What does this mean? Does your indy have X-ray vision?? Did he run a UOA??? If he ran an UOA, what's the ppm????

Well if he could see copper particles in the filter I would think the ppm would be off the charts. I'm doing my first oil change next week and a sample is going straight to blackstone.
