Default April 2019 PORS9 Market Update

We started a new blog post that will be a monthly look at the North American marketplace for PORS9 Registry models. It's based upon the daily data we collect from public listings.

This is our inaugural post so we look to improve it and to increase the amount of data provided as we go.

Here is a link to the post.

Looks to me like values are holding better than most any other brand out there.

Good stuff. Not so much too many RS for sale as a distortion created by people holding on to market view that no longer exists.

Could be a sign of a market top.

I would think that a Carrera GT is a great value, in 20 years time won't the natasp V10 with man-tran be a better vale the first Porsche hybrid super-car?

I see hybrid systems as similar to in car electronics like satnav systems. Nothing dates a car earlier than old systems like these and I see the same for hybrid systems. The only thing that will hold the 918 values in the future is the generation that grew up with them and will feel nostalgia for them down the road. I'd much rather have a CGT, or better yet a 959 (Sport).

No data yet on 991.2 GT3?

FWIW - I think the data is great. The issue is the opinion driven value threads rather than the data driven ones. IMO.

Valid and verifiable data are are always welcome. Threads driven by hype or insecurity/anxiety are worthless and tiresome.

Not sure what meaningful info that "Price per mile" metric provides... It seems to me that the inverse ratio might be more meaningful, but not sure on that either...
