For $300k, I figured I should get the leather.

Took the metadata from the German URL and pasted it into the US URL.

If Porsche can get it, good for them. But what is so special about this car to command a 275k msrp?? Other than the fact people think it will be worth 500k - which may or may not happen.

Or $231,000 USD at current exchange rates. Canadians are getting a 'good' deal in relative terms.

Yes. Cars are cheaper here. I would shop in Canada if I was in the USA.

Still, this MSRP is pretty close of what was the 2RS one up here.

I'm struggling to make my mind about this...

I played a little with the configurator and to make a nice car it takes 310k €, 320k € with HP, which in essence is only the livery and the beige leather with some golden badges.
Personally I think Porsche has priced the car € 50k more than the real consistency of the car.
With 320K € you are in motor racing hyperspace: you can buy Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and not a cut Turing.
In this car there are more things that do not give you than the opposite.
The Porsche held for itself the so-called ADM.
If you are not in a hurry in a year there will be many on sale at the list price and even less.
If I have to buy the story, then with that money I buy a real Speedster of 56.

Don't understand the comments about it being "fugly". Considering the asking price it's a shame that it lost some of the unique elements from the concepts, especially the headlights and wheels from the red car, but I find the final result great looking regardless.

Big $$$. I am sure it will bring a certain type of buyer to the party. Would be cool to own, but not at the ADM's dealers will attempt/get. Next....

ADM + list will be a tough sell, I agree.

Jamie, have you heard anything from Canadian dealers? I know dealers are promising, but does anyone have official allocations that can be built? Thanks!
