Make a gazillion GT everything... as long as they make an amazing 1 that I love, and fits my needs - -I'm very happy.

When companies do this part of the sole of the original concept always seems to die off so Im skeptical here. Have bad feeling about direction Porsche is going. Feels a lot like BMW which used to make brilliant stuff, jumped on mass appeal bandwagon and has totally forgot how to make cars that are worth caring about any more.
This is why I left BMW (Owned E46 M3, E39 M5, F10 M5, Z4M etc). The M badge used to mean something. Now its just marketing gimmick used to sell "sport" packages.

Yep. It wasn't that long ago that BMW made great handling cars throughout their lineup. Today I look at BMW as more of a luxury car company, like a German version of Acura.
Twenty years ago Porsche only had two new car offerings: 911s and Boxsters. There's a large Porsche dealership near to where I live, and between their showroom and lot they have about 60 Porsches in their inventory, but only 12 are either 911s, Boxsters or Caymans. Times are changing.

RossP, Totally agree. My daily is a E39 M5, one of the loveliest automobiles ever made in my biased opinion. Driving that regularly and seeing the newer BMWs on the road at the same time makes me feel sick. The loss of BMW has dealt a huge blow, not only do we not have real M cars but others don't have to compete with real M cars either which hurts the entire system. Next stop is Mclaren if I start seeing GT# labels on SUV Coupes.

Dealers are building what people are buying why is that a bad thing? Profitability is more important with variety .......the Cayenne and the Boxter is what stopped Porsche from going bankrupt with only one car in the line up a 911 ......how did that work out?

My E39 525 was one of the best cars I've ever owned, even with the ridiculously underpowered motor that was in it. I saw one at the car wash the other day and couldn't take my eyes off it. That really was the end of BMW making cool cars before Bangle destroyed everything.
