Default Best way to get lap times in multiple cars

Guys, I've read a few threads on debates between AIm and Vbox and seen somee things about the built in GT3RS lap function but it looks like you need at least $1k receiver to pair with it. If I'm running a cup car and a .2 GT3RS and I want a simple way to compare lap times in both cars what would you guys suggest?

Just lap times? If so, the basic AIM Solo 2. As long as you have a PC to load tracks, it's incredibly simple for lap times.

Lowest cost would be the Harry’s Lap Timer app on your phone. Works really good.

I’ve found Harry’s Laptimer to be a bit erratic lately, such as stopping recording mid-session, failing to start recording automatically at the Start/Finish line, constant freezes etc. I have updated the software version, reloaded tracks etc. but still sporadic issues. It’s still the simplest solution but if these issues persist, I will be forced to look for a more reliable solution as well.

ApexPro Coach - paired with your phone - take the unit/phone with you from car to car - just make sure to calibrate it each time in each car (tap the calibrate button on the phone app and wait 15 seconds.)

Haven't tracked since February and at Sebring it worked but i only got to do a few sessions due to rain

Video doesn't work good with iphone 7 due to anti vibe technology. I'd really like to find a simple true HD camera that can at least give me HD 1080p video g forces lap times speed and rpm. I'm really lost with what is out there.

I use a racelogic lap timer. 3 suction cups and 2 cables (power and GPS). This is a robust unit used in professional racing.
