No ya’lls GT car are still worth something....my wife drove mine around last week. I told her I don’t want it anymore and neither will anyone else.

Yep. My GT3T has almost 700 miles on it. Fortunately, my 18 year-old daughter likes it and has offered to take it off my hands in exchange for her 2014 Nissan Rogue. Naturally I'm on that like a duck on a junebug...!

Stop by your nearest Ferrari dealership and they'll help you fix that odometer before you sell it

I didn't buy my Porsche as a investment
I didn't buy my Porsche as a investment ... it is for driving enjoyment. My financial guy takes care of investments and that's a different bucket!
I know people that love to walk into their garage and look at their Porsche ... that nice but I want to be driving it!
I put just under 10,000 on it in the first year and have no target number for year two.

I'll take it off your hands for $10 for each mile driven…depreciated off MSRP

I spoke to a guy this weekend and told me he shipped his car to an event so as to not rack up miles for depreciation saying that they are three dollars a mile, and that his Ferrari 488 is $10 a mile.
I was thinking to myself that unless you only like to look at your cars why would you care. Mine got some nice battle scars, rock chips in spite of The whole front end covered in film. I had fun driving 1250mi in 3 days.

Originally owned a 996 GT3 - put about 35k miles on it in two years. Regularly drove it from Phoenix to Las Vegas or San Diego for work - and tracked it when I could. That freeway driving just ate rear tires, striping the insides. I think I replaced 5 sets of rears and one set of fronts.
Sold it about 10 years ago. It was my first Porsche. And selling it was the worst decision I have made with cars ever. But, everything happens for a reason, and my journeys have taken me through a 997 Porsche Twin Turbo, a BMW M3, Audi S7, and now back to a 2018 991.2 GT3.
Bought it about two months ago, and already have 2k miles on it.
MAN - I did not realize how much I missed driving that style of car. When I first sat in it, the driving feel was literally like my soul drinking up water after years in the desert.
The turbo does not have the feel of the GT3 (either one). Sure it was fast, but it was not as tight. The M3 was incredibly light and nimble for how heavy it was. The S7 was just comfort and quiet exemplified.
I even love getting out on an evening and detailing the thing + my other cars. (My wife looks at me funny, but doesn't complain when her car ends up shiny and clean! LOL). Kind of like a meditation for me.
Congrats on 10k! And congrats on 35k!

Great thread, after owning dozens of Porsche's-mostly GT cars I'm committed to driving my GT3 6speed at least 100k miles. Seems ridiculous that I've never done that with any car I've owned as optimized as these cars are for the joy of driving. Hope to see more high milage GT3 out there!

I am happy to take it even if it is worthless.
