I feel the same but the freakin Rolex my Wife bought me back in 2004 has more than doubled. Of all the things I own who would of thought my Watch was the best score.I find it king of funny because I never "got" why people collect watches. Told my Son he can have it when/if he graduates college because I could care less about jewelry.

Market is tanking, 991.1 GT3RS can now be had for 150-160, thats about 100k below what they sold for when new. Its insane. 991.2 GT3 is following suit.

Drive the crap of your car now and enjoy it. My ‘14 C2S has 41k and i feel like i don't drive it enuf. Doesn’t matter it costs, i dreamt about it, finally could afford it,and don’t worry about what it’ll be worth in 2004.

i agree with all you said. The current prices of air cooled 911’s is outrageous. So, here is my 30 yr old 911 with only 50k on the clock.. Driven once a month and keep in a hermetically sealed wrapper in a climate controlled garage. Only $74,000bucks. Will only consider offers above that. Phuckin nuts! How about the 964 with only 145k miles for $45k. In 10 yrs from now, when gas is hard to find and costs $100 a gal if even available, cause all cars will be electric or nuclear powered and self driving, just very expensive eye candy. How about finding a mechanic to work on one not to mention one with. MT. What is that stick between the seats for?

Hopefully i get a f40 before they sky rocket. That an am looking for an xj220. Even though i think the xj220 price isn't going to move up ever. But these are cars i want regardless of value increase or decrease. The GT car market is a no brainer. Too many cars produced. The only one i think has a outside shot at a collector car is the 911r. I know the touring short term has chopped down the R but long term i don't think it will matter.
But i think 997 RS 3.8/4.0 are collector cars. Same 996 RS.
