Nice driving Ryan. Good to see you out there today. This track thing is addictive. Only went out there 2 times this week. Doesn't sound like much, but I was out of town for 3 of days this week. haha.

Thank you. And yes the RS with an exhaust is hard to beat with how it sounds. I have a JCR center section on it

Being 45-50min away helps otherwise I'd probably be there a few days a week too haha.

What a fun concept. Man I wish I had the cars, money and lived close by! I would be all over the condo and garage with the track right there! Thanks for sharing.

I'm not a "drift" guy but I could see one having a lot of fun on that track in a drift setup.

Buzz has definitely started about this place. Spoke to the Simcraft guys who installed a couple of machines out there and they said it's amazing. And that the future plans are impressive.

About the only thing missing is a hairpin! Great looking track. Who was the designer? Barnard?

Is there a karting element?

I live in up in N. Scottsdale and have followed the Apex story for years now as it worked its way through some troubles. Good to see the first phase open, but I still have some serious concerns about the project that are keeping me from taking the next step. Could any of you locals maybe PM me your contact info so I could ask some questions privately (I don't want to trash anyone in an open forum)? Thanks, PL

Funny you mentioned that. I wanted to drift all around the long left hander after the second "straight". I was there talking with one of the owners of the track about it and how it's a perfect setup for that. They didn't want anyone hooning around quite yet haha.

Hangout with Matt from Simcraft a few times. Their simulators are fun.

Not sure who designed it but I did know at one time. I can ask. There will be a karting track in a future phase. This phase is 2.2 or 2.3 miles. There will be a second phase 2.2 mile track that will able to make one long layout in the future as well

There are some big money guys behind the project now so funding isn't an issue. Land is bought and done as you can see so all the big concerns are over at this point. Contact me anytime and I'm happy to answer any questions and even take you out there.

My only issue with it is how tight it is.I was really hoping for a faster layout. So tired of these desert tracks that you don't even get out of 3rd gear.Something like Road America comes to mind.
