trading in my gt3rs
#32
It’s not my intent to turn this into a value thread, but the OP mentioned taking a loss on the .2 3RS and I was curious about what dealers are taking these cars in for now.
^^ this. Just looking for for insightful information from the OP from an otherwise bland post. No explanation why the .2 3RS wasn’t for him, no reason why the C2S was a better fit, no info on what the ‘loss’ was etc

Just traded in my manual gt3. Loved it while I had it. Bought it for an occasion car and track days. Put 3000 miles on it doing just that. Knew I wasn’t going to track in summer and I don’t like daily’ing GT cars (my second one) so it would mainly be in the garage for a while. Been a long time since I had a daily driver sports car and always wanted a cayman. Got a great deal on my trade in (msrp minus 7 grand at ~ 4000 miles) and a great deal on an almost new pdk 718 gts (msrp minus 20 grand at ~ 1500 miles). Love the 718 gts as a DD. Extremely fast car around town (surprisingly real-world fast and faster than my old 991.1 CS) and completely comfortable. Love the smaller size and narrow body. Doesn’t mean I won’t be in another GT car at some point, just time for a change and a different experience that’s all.
