Default RS Rear Spoiler Winglets

How do the two different winglet designs on the rear spoilers of the 3RS and 2RS affect aero? The 2RS' kind of hang down below the wing, whereas the 3RS' protrude above and below. I'm sure it's a subtle difference at the end of the day, but these kind of details intrigue me.

I like the look of the 2RS' and was thinking of putting them on my 3RS. But I want to make sure it's not going to adversely affect aero in some way. I'm also wondering if the 2RS wing will just bolt right up on the 3RS supports or if it's a matter of simply replacing the actual winglets (they're held on with tape, I think?).

As far as I know it can’t be done (end plates only). I think you would need to replace the entire wing which would be a waste of $.

I do love the squarish shape of the 2RS wing plates. I think it's one of the best executed design features on the car

I've seen people replace just the end plates (winglets) with carbon fiber ones. And on the GT3, I thought they were held on with 3M tape. Not the case with the RS?

Yes, I agree. It gives the car the appearance of a meaner, wider rear stance.
Not a deal breaker for me or anything. Just something I was thinking about.

I'm waiting on the people swapping out the more dramatic spoiler on the 718 GT4 for the one on the 981 GT4.

not just tape, they have cutouts and tabs specific to the wing.

Won't fit (I asked Suncoast).

Hoping someone will 3D scan the 2RS endplates, however, and merge the 3RS cutouts/tabs. I would certainly buy a set, because as others have said I think the 2RS endplates look fantastic.
