Anyone else's 3RS stuck at Davisville - Viking Queen
Hi guys : The car landed on April 20th but won't be released till May 10th. Very odd. Anyone else in the same boat. Pun intended. Dealer says it's normal. I'm in NYC 2 hrs away from Davisville and it will take 2 weeks to get to the dealer. Any insights or similar experiences would be appreciated.

A week later the hold was lifted. My car showed up to the dealer on the same day projected when my build started. I wouldn’t worry, you’ll probably have it soon. I used the last few days of waiting to clean out my garage and get my detailing supplies updated. Enjoy!

My GT3 came into Davisville last year. Took about 3 days to get to dealer (Long Island).

My GT3 was held at the port in Jacksonville for three weeks for a "quality hold". No one at the dealer or PCNA could tell me why, and I never found out the reason for it. Other GT3s on that same boat were released in a normal time frame, so I guess my draft number just came up.

Mine hit Jacksonville this morning and the dealer told me it has already been release for transport in the Porsche system. Not sure if that means it has cleared customs already, but they are saying to expect it here early next week.

Viking queen arrived early December , cars were held . No explanation. Then they trickled to the dealers .Mine did not get released till mid February.
No explanation was given. It did not bother me much because, it was winter , and the car would have idled in my garage till spring.

I am being told mine was released from Jacksonville on April 29th and is enroute to the dealer. I am hoping it arrives today. Was May 10th the date that was in the Porsche Sales and Vehicle Management System? My dealer has been keeping me updated as the system has been changing. Mine says May 10 also as the "Expected Date" in the system, but my dealer has already been in touch with the trucking company. Hopefully yours arrives soon!!
