That silver beast in your cave was the car that turned me to the 7.2RS! Something about that car is just right.

Once you get behind the wheel, you will get over it. I bought a 10k mile copy about 8 months ago. Have put 3k miles on it since (which is a lot since I own 5 cars). I figure I'm never selling it, so I will just run it and rebuild as needed.

Remember, I'm in construction. I'm sure we can weld it back together.

I enjoy reading the whole discussion above. Very true to the spirit of RL GT3 forum—what cars are like to DRIVE!

CJ’s list of good Porsches to drive got me really thinking. I too will put the CGT first. That said, you can’t go anywhere in that car unnoticed. Or scrape up half the town’s tarmac if you have to negotiate multistorey carparks…

Contrast that with any of the 911s… in my better half’s words, “that’s just an unassuming white/black/silver car…”

The 67 R is such a unicorn, I’d love to feel for myself where it ranks. If anyone has a seat to share, I promise I’m a very gentle gentleman driver 😂… heck I’ll even go thru 21D days of Quarantine in HK just to fly out for the drive 😜

The 993 GT2 has this big pucker factor from its lag. But I would heartily recommend a drive in the 964 Turbo 3.3S (not to be confused with the 3.6S)… everything the GT2 has to offer, the 3.3S has, with less refinement—it’s effectively a 964 RS with a single turbo, on LWFW!

Don’t forget the 993 RSR. That’s probably one of the remaining underrated air cooled heroes out there…

And if AP didn’t make a 997 4.0, yes I’m darn sure the 3.8 will be THE 997…
