I think this is why I'm always late to the GT car party, usually buying used, etc. FWIW - Porsche Nashville has two new, unclaimed 3RS's that are inbound. My bet is there are still some values to be had for those who have waited and waited.
I'm in your camp. Even though stock market and business gains could easily justify $20K additional for ADM for the exact car you/I want, there's something that holds me back. I want a GT3T (need another manual after getting rid of the 993) but am in no rush/have no time right now anyway (it would just sit). Late this year/mid winter will be a good time for me(my kids wont want to hang with me by then anyways). I am sure that prices will be more in my favor by then. I am not super fussy with Porsche's (read options), i just like the way they "drive". Obviously, i have some key ones (probably FAL based on where i live and some colors) but could care less about stitching etc...

It is a nice GT3T but why go for the 19 when you can get a very low mileage 18 for around MSRP at other dealers? Just to have it brand new?

Are gently used 2018 Tourings available for MSRP?

Here's one where the asking is MSRP. Probably could be had for less (or already has been).

good spec for someone wanting sofas. Looks like a slight mark up 177k seems high for MSRP, but agree coming down.

even though people here on rennlist beat the ADM discussion into the ground and beyond on a daily (hourly?) basis, i think many forget how many buyers are out there that don't think twice about a 30k adm for a special car. the dealerships know it and so they are patient. i'm all set as i have my gt3 but if i were looking for a touring, i'd consider this one for sure. i only buy new (don't like someone else's leftovers) and i'm not alone so not really sure what other options there are. honestly was surprised to see that there is even a new one still available for sale. i think most people forget about the check they write after they drive these cars.

please don't take this the wrong way, but that was a very different type of spec than this chalk one. i think most buyers who don't blink at a 30K ADM are typically ones who need builds that include bucket seats, ceramics, full leather and the other typically desired options. yours didn't have any of these options and you were still asking 19k over sticker to recoup the ADM you paid. i really don't mean any offense as i personally liked your car -- it's just my thoughts on how the market typically goes. hopefully you came to your senses and decided to keep that black beauty.

Doubtful this exists. This car is not advertised on the Porsche of Warrington website. They do have a 2018 winged MT GT3 with 2,500 miles advertised at $175k, which is $5k over MSRP.

I just ran a search on AutoTrader for all 18-19 Manual GT3s within 500 miles of Delaware. The search resulted in 31 cars, only two of which were Tourings. One is the red car at Porsche of the Main Line with 1,025 miles. Ask is $180k. I have no idea what the MSRP is, but its not 180k. The second car is a high spec PTS Geyser Grey at Porsche Gold Coast with only 177 miles. Ask is $222k on a $202k sticker. Interesting car if you value PTS.

One problem is that the search engines don't keep up with real-life sales. This translates to many false positives that help dealers get more calls...and thus possibly more sales of bait-and-switch cars.

Porsche Hickory sold their GT Silver GT3T a few days ago at 20K over, per their GSM. Nice looking spec with silver wheels and ceramics but did have sofas.

Definitely in Tourings! I wouldn't have bought one any other way...
