is it safe to tint gorilla glass?

yes, just have them installed at a shop where they can cut the tint from a computer, if they custom cut them on the window, Gorilla won’t take the razor cuts nicely, and even some Laminated windows can’t be cut either.
Cracks have nothing to do with tint, if anything the film would help reduce the chances of cracks by a small margin (stress distribution).

Its fine unless you push car to its limits. Then it will crack due to under engineering. Its the new german way of life. Well not new. Its been about 7-8 years that i have noticed the german machinery i have been purchasing for my business really taking a nose dive in build quality. We have switched to swiss/swedish machines now with a much higher build quality
Germany now equals Quantity over quality.

As many have mentioned, find an installer that has done it before and is comfortable, and you’re in good shape.
We’ve done a few RS and just did our first 911T...business as usual and turned out fine
