17 Raptor = dogs light towing and moving dirty things
19 RS5 sportback = bad weather multiple people moving
19 GT3 touring = daily
67 912 = old car fun

In these categories, just can’t seem to find anything else that interests me. scary times in automotive design.
want to add a 70 911s and 67 nova SS then garage will be complete I figure.

Hypercar/exotic dream be 88 ish Testarossa and 06 Ford GT.

This is easy for us as we already are a multi-brand household.

Volvo XC60R - The wife's runabout, dog hauler and air port car.
Ram SRT-10 - Work tuck, tow vehicle and big smoky burnout tire destroyer.
Lexus IS-F - Long trips, runs to the office and the fill in vehicle when the Volvo is being serviced.
Porsche GT4 - The fun car as the wife calls it.

Current collection is 22 vehicles including the following that fill each category.
Inclement weather/towing --- 2017 Ford F250 Powerstroke
Significant other date night---2012 Mclaren MP412C
Track day --- 2002 996 GT3 Cup
Hypercar ---- 2005 CGT
Vintage----1986 Ferrari Testarossa
Sedan ---2014 BMW X1
Small City --- 2014 Fiat Abarth

I know I duplicated Porsche but I think Porsche makes the perfect track car and the only hypercar I have is the CGT.

CJ -- I sent you a PM.

Gee, we're boring...
My daily driver/AX car: 2018 GT3 Touring
Wife's daily driver: 2012 Prius V
Dogmobile: 2015 Sienna AWD

I do want to add a Macan as my DD.
But, just bought the lot; to build the house on; for a 4 car garage Asked the wife about adding a semi-detached garage and she said she wanted to move (we STILL can't get broadband internet where we live and she could work at home if we did). Thus, it began...

Family - X7 (just got it, wife loves it)
Porsche - 993 (I’d lose the GT3 if I was forced to choose)
Race Car - Radical (no substitute for downforce)
Sedan - Tesla (you either love it or hate it, I’m on my 2nd one)

One more - I’m eyeing a Scud but will probably just hold on to the GT3 because it’s just too damn user friendly

Porsche 911 street variant for daily/city/date/do-it-all and when big car is not needed

Toyota Land Cruiser - family/wife, road trips, do-it-all when bigger car is needed

Porsche 910 - vintage race car. But to indulge CJ’s post, Mclaren F1 GTR with LM history

Ferrari 355 Challenge - street-registered backroads/track race car

uber/Lyft/Grab/Turo - misc.

Latest/Greatest Range Rover - Inclement Weather/ Tow Vehicle/ Family Vehicle/“Sedan”/Datenight - (ok, got that out of the way; now let’s have fun)

991 Manual gt3 - Great all-around, under wrty, track/road-toy, I don’t care if I put into wall or park on street
430 Scuderia - something from the “peak analogue” mid/late-2000’s era that’s also a fun track/road-toy
Merc 300sl roadster - classic style machine convertible
Mac F1 - hypercar

In deciding where to use my one choice for Porsche; the CGT, 997-4.0 and 73s were all runners-up in their respective categories. However, I decided they had “suitable substitutes” from other manufacturers and Porsche didn’t as my pick for the consumable, all-around-toy that I just don’t care so much about category (which I’ve learned the “care-free” toy category is an important one for me). On their own merits, I pick any of the three other Porsches before the 991, but for CJ’s rules on this 5-car lineup, it takes the spot. And, while it’s the 991 3-manual currently, I could easily swap that for gt4/spyder once they are out; for me this category is more about reliable/versatile/all-around/“new”/not-too-crazy-expensive toy. Porsche is going to win this category for me 9/10 times with a BIG gap to 2nd place.

Side note: I do and probably will own a 4-6 car lineup. That more real-life list for me it 3-4 porsche, 1 ferrari and a utility car (suv if in US; mini-type car if in UK). And maybe one surprise in there from time to time from another manufacturer.
