Default high value insurers

Progressive declines to insure anything over $150,000, after 19 years with them. Please advise of companies that will insure say 3-400K. Thanks

News to me. I just got a quote for my GT3 from them. What state are you in? Maybe it's a state-by-state thing? Your profile says you're in New Zealand??

I'm willing to be there's a lot you're leaving out though. Like the fact you need to insure multiple cars and have another car on a separate, third-party policy as a dedicated "daily driver" and you also need have your home and other assets insured through Grundy as well in order to get a single car insured.

I contacted Grundy and it was more like $8-12K a year for just a single car. It's because they don't typically insure cars like these. They aren't classics. They aren't collectibles. They insure car "collections."

$1500/year = $125/month. That's cheaper than many cash value polices like Geico and State Farm. And that's for an agreed value policy? Doesn't make sense to me.

I use Leland West via PCA. They do require proof of daily driver, but certainly no homeowners etc. My car with them is only insured for 190K, but premium is $1800 year. (I do live in downtown Atlanta so probably pay a bit of an additional premium for that).

I have 5 cars with American Select, through the broker that also carries my home insurance. They are known to cover track incidents as well, at least once.

Unable to find prior thread mentioned by searching...

Thanks for the leads, guys.

Once cars get to $300K+ the pickings are slim

I went with Grundy as well for guaranteed agreed value coverage.
