Default 991 GT3 on Trailex 7541?

Anybody tow a 991 GT3 on a Trailex 7541? If it fits, how many inches of room do you have next to tires?

I'm aware they fit on 8045, and that prior gen GT3s fit on 7541. I'm asking specifically about 991 GT3 (with negative camber) on 7541.

TIA.

Nope, unless you switch to 225 front and 285 rear tires on 8"/10"wheels. 8045 is the correct one, and it is super tight for the 991 TurboS and GT3RS, I sold my last two 8045 for that same reason.

Interesting. Another guy posted that he towed a 2016 GT3RS on 7541 (barely fit). Wondering if GT3 on 19" wheels with 265/325 tires would fit.

I don't understand the angst. Why not just procure the 8045?

Won’t fit comfortably. I sell Trailex.

I did it last September. There is about 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch clearance on either side of the rear tires. That's with 245 front tires and 305 rears. Not ideal for sure, but manageable if you take your time.

Thanks for your help. Your info was very helpful and I appreciate it.

Is that what I asked?? If you must know, I have a 7541. I used to have 8045 but downsized to 7541 on purpose for multiple reasons. I'd rather not switch back unless I have to - hence the question. And I've had lots of things done to my current trailer in the past few years to make it "perfect" for me. So I'd rather not switch if I don't have to.

LOL. Sorry about that, now I understand (as I put ice to my hammered head ) . I do have a track buddy who ended up cutting his tires badly on the smaller trailer before he switched to the larger one. He was able to transfer all the upgrades to the larger trailer. I bought a new 8045 several years ago, have been slowly adding options as desired, and it fits into my garage.

Good luck with making it work, and I mean that sincerely.

All good. It does sound like I should switch to 8045 though... not looking forward to it. Sounds like 991 GT3 fits but just barely - could be a PITA..

Well, first I have to get a GT3! I had gotten close to 2 cars recently and that's when I began wondering if I'll be able to tow it. Thanks for the well wish.
