true, though there are some CPO ones out there. Should be good until 2022.

But i have only driven on street so no real comparison on the limit. RS looks more special, 991.2 engine feels stronger. handling differences i am not sure, i think you have to drive both same day to get a decision my experience was 991.2 feels a bit tighter and stiffer. But RS should be stiffer...so my memories bad perhaps ;-) ??
Is this really true? I have a hard time believing the .1 RS is slower than the .2 GT3 in same tracks given the track focus put into the RS. Is this just from your experience? Can anyone else chime in?

Can someone post objective videos or articles with both cars, same driver and track?

i also think this sounds suspicious, but it doesn’t actually matter that much to me.

Also, looking at some .2 RSs is tempting. If I found a really nice one without ADM. Every one I see it over $240k. Base of 187 mean lots of options and ADM.

get an RS. I think track times are very similar between the 2 in experienced hands. In my experience, the .2 GT3 with its more low end torque could easily pull me away from me out of the turns when in my 1. RS, but I would catch back up in the turns, so track times very similar. Personally for the same price (I have owned both), I would go with the .1 RS, assuming you don't want a manual tranny. the RS looks the part and drives the part, a more raw experience then the .2 GT3. However, the .2 3RS is much better then both...not to go off topic!

Good videos. like I said, times are more or less a wash. Hard to compare times on different days years apart, so in my book as I said above its basically a wash. I'd rather have the RS for the same coin- no contest- as I said, I've had both.

991.2 GT3 is a bit quicker than the 1 RS on straights...both are great cars, but the upgraded engine in th 2. is noticeable.
Buy what you like.

.2 motor is quite strong but as other mentioned in the corners the RS has much more stability and balance. I wasn't buying the .2 motor was stronger but I have a few driving spots where in 1st and 2nd gears where the new motor will light up the tires where in my .1RS it never did. This new 4.0 is a very stout unit!

thanks all! I have someone trying to convince me to get a Weissach .2RS. Quite the jump in price. I wonder what the depreciation will be like for the fastest naturally aspirated car around the Nurburgring ever (and just as quick as a 918).

Ah right, .2 RS = .2 GT3 RS, and 2RS = GT2RS.

Either way, Weissach is just asking for more painful repair costs on track for no real benefit.
