Default Cali Registration Renewal Costs

Curious how much you Cali .2 GT3 owners are paying for registration renewals? Feel free to specify RS or not.

2018 GT3 - $1,507, just came up this month. My 2017 Turbo S was roughly the same.

I remember when I moved to Texas nearly 20 years ago and my 993 went from $500/yr to $30. Seems like CA doesn't know when enough is enough.

cheers!

In Mississippi, tag/reg fees for vehicles are ridiculous. Unfortunately, they don't use the revenue for roads/bridges/education/etc.......
I currently have all vehicles registered to our house in the county which is exactly half of cost if they were registered at the house within the city limits.
Even so, just renewed for 2019: 2016 Cayman S @ $1,314.25 and 2018 GT3 @ $1,834.31.

$3210.75 for my RS when I registered it new last month in AZ! If you buy a used car though from a private seller, you don't pay sales tax of 7.8%. They don't need your sales tax with licensing fees!

$1498 for 2018 GR3 in Bay Area...on top of ~9% sales tax. All the fees and pothole ridden roads which make car enjoyment tougher than needed

I was in Scottsdale a couple weeks ago golfing for 4 days and saw quite a few Lambos and Ferraris and most of them had Montana plates- I guess that explains it all
