Transit Time to Benicia Port?
I'm in the SF Bay Area. When I got my GT3, it came in through the port at Rhode Island. And it was 13 days from Germany to the USA. My GT3RS is coming into Benicia, here in CA, so the ship will probably stop in Rhode Island, then go down the east coast and make a few stops before going through the Panama Canal, then probably stop in LA or San Diego, then up to SF.
Anybody else have any idea how long their car took to arrive in this area from Germany? I'm trying to get an idea so I can plan with a PPF shop.

A month is about right. The ship my car was on stopped at San Diego, then Port Hueneme (Oxnard), which was a bit of a surprise. The good news is, it was released very quickly, once it arrived in Benicia. It may have helped that I bought mine at Walnut Creek Porsche, which is only about 10 miles away.

Can't they just like... beam the car straight to my garage or something. It's 2019, where's all the future tech!

I know how you feel. My car sat on the dock in Emden for a month, then 2 days after I picked it up, I had to return it for 2 months, as it was released prematurely...talk about frustrating!!!
