The reason I ask is I LC’d at 350 miles and feel OCD about it now. The car will explode?

On GT3/RS PDK- full brake, full gas, engine revs to 6500 while dash display says “LC enabled” or similar, hard lift off the brake while keeping the gas buried.

Some non GT iterations may require “PDK Sport” button to be engaged as step 1.

Good luck!

LC on the GT3 is just noisy, all drama, and no go. Loud RPMs and horrible launch. If the surface is well prepped (prepared with sticky compound as on drag strips), it will bog in 1st gear and disable itself, does this in .1 and .2 GT3.

LC on the TTS is drama-free, but it goes. The TTS has the best LC system on any car, I have pulled 1.5s 60ft times on street pavement, 1.4s on a drag strip (stock Michelin Pilot Sport 4S), the thing gives me over 1.3g on acceleration.

...and the TTS allows the LC to be used with the nannies off (which is how I run on any track, except in the rain). For Hill Climbs, Time Trials from a standing start, the TTS is the car.

Porsche only allows LC in the GT3 with the nannies on, so all show and no-go. I actually have better acceleration numbers with LC disabled, all nannies off, and some modulation right after take off. Have dozens of LC and no-LC runs with the TTS, .1 RS and .2 RS on the same test site, TTS is King.

I waited until break-in for 1st LC, oil changed, 1,200 miles.

Hmmm...thank you. On my gt3, 8/10 times it would feel like the gas and brake is fighting each other....there are a couple of times the "launch control activated" thing came up but for some reason it cant build rev...like hover around 2-3k and I just let off, too scared to damage it

Will give it a try some more

So I dont even have to press anything? not even PDK sport or ESP off or anything like that?

Used it a few times at autocross on the GT3 and found not much quicker from mashing the throttle off the line in that situation. It was fun to show friends in that car but strictly for giggles. I haven’t tried it yet in the RS after 3900 miles and 2 autocrosses. Maybe it’s time to do a back to back comparison at the next autocross. Theoretically it should be quicker.

If yours works the same as my .2RS, no you don’t have to press anything. Stomp the brake as far as you can with your left foot, hold it, stomp the gas to the floor with your right, hold it, wait for 6500 RPM, lift your left foot hard and keep your right foot down. Brace for takeoff.

I used it once by accident. I was attempting to get my car on the trailer - braking and applying throttle and the damn thing engaged. I had no way to turn it off. Scariest moment I have ever had at the track.

24000 miles and until I read this post I had forgotten all about that feature. I guess it is time to give it a go and see how it feels.
