After 10 plus months of waiting, I finally took delivery of my first RS. This car is truly special.
My original spec included the Weissach package, but due to the stop sale, I was forced to go with my current spec. I was a bit disappointed at first, but after taking delivery and seeing a Weissach package GT3RS in person, I actually prefer the non-Weissach clean looks.
My car is wrapped in both XPEL and Suntak film. I wanted to try out both products and decided to install XPEL on the hood, rear wing, and the front bumper and Suntak film for the rest of the car. You can't tell the difference at all and the final results are surprisingly good. I had the installer remove the original side decals and the factory rear fender PPF and re-apply the "GT3RS" side decals and have new PPF installed over the decals. I think that will ensure better protection since it rains a lot over here during the summer time.
