That sold quick, as a private sale, and for 3k under.

As much as some on here might want it to be, no prices are not 5k under at best. They are still holding at slightly over msrp. The one person who sold at $2k under had to sell his car urgently - it's an exception not the norm.

Agreed. I have been searching for months and decided to jump in and buy a 991.2 manual to actually enjoy the car behind the wheel this spring and summer instead of looking at them from behind the computer screen.

IMO With the weather turning to driving season I would suspect MSRP will be the entry point on low mileage GT3s.

I referenced that car in my post. It sold for $2k under and is an exception as seller had urgency to sell.

Seemed to be a fire sale and not the norm but we will see. Maybe there just aren't that many drivers who want a GT car right now. Millennials are more excited for autonomous cars than rowing gears.

Case in point- I was driving in my home town last Sat morning with my wife. Top down and a 30 yo millennial hipster riding on his rented Lime scooter (clearly stoned) ? looked over and yelled "mines cooler than yours!" I looked at him and gave a chuckle and wave thinking "good one". But that is really how this age group thinks. This won't bode well for future demand.

True, we see the same with rolex and luxury watches. New age millenial customers are preferring apple watches and don't care for luxury watches which seem to have an older connotation. Luxury watch sales are still increasing despite this because of existing older clientele. We will see if marketing can sway the current millienial group.

I have to decide on a new 19 GT3 166k msrp on Monday at dealer- manual - PRICE IS MSRP- so tell me what these 2018 USED cars are worth in reality. Just conflicted as I have RS but like manual P cars.

Doesn't sound like a bloated spec, if it has the options you like then buy it. Will prices go lower? Of course, but who knows how much and how fast.

Sounds good to me. Drive it and enjoy. Yes,Blue car listed was a good deal but the car also has 2000 miles on it.
