Aurum Gold Rims - Prismatic Powder Color?
Before I play powder sample roulette, I thought I would ask if anyone has powder coated a set of GT3/RS wheels with something resembling Aurum Gold. I love the look on the .2-3RS and want to replicate that look as closely as possible in powder, as these will see track duty and need the extra resilience. If you have done anything similar with Prismatic Powder and have a lead on a close color, I would appreciate your insights. I will do my best to share what I learn along the way, so that others may go this route if desired. Many thanks!

Very interested in this as well, as I want to do the exact thing to my stock, satin black, wheels.

I went with Satin Poly Gold as well! They are supposed to call me in the morning to tell me if the powder came in. Getting “clear vision” over it to hopefully give them a little glossier/wetter look than the dry satin look. My prerogative!
Will obviously post pics once complete.

Looks really good. Can you expand on what process the shop used, so I can ask a shop around Los Angeles, to do the same exact thing

I’m certain they didn’t recreate the powder coating process, but can ask if needed. I am assuming this is pretty “standard.”
The color is Prismatic Powder - Poly Satin Gold - PMB-6487
Then a second application (after a partial bake/cure - I am assuming this) Prismatic Powder - Clear Vision - PPS-2974
I assume it then got a final bake/cure.
Dropped off at 8:30A and picked it up at 4P the same day.
I know they said prep on the centerlocks was the key. The place I went had done hundreds of sets of CL wheels - they are one of the go-to places in Miami...where we have a few vehicles with “custom” wheels.

Just need to find a reputable spot nearby.
