One thing that will stop is treating these cars like appreciating assets and they will now be DRIVEN - the purpose of a car.
^^This. Rubbing hands....I can't wait to place the order for my GT2RS Targa. It will be wing delete of course

I really hope this doesn't turn into an "AMG everything" approach that Mercedes has taken. I really hate how the AMG brand has been overly diluted in the last several years.

That being said, I'm in for a Cayman GT4 Targa Touring package.

At first I thought this was a April fools joke but it too early for that......

I have no problem with Porsche producing more vehicles just as long they don’t water down the brand. Have you driven the M3 lately? It’s no longer a driving enthusiasts experience but a marketing brand. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

I don’t want a GT3/GT3RS with stop/go technology or self driving technology

Should be interesting. I figured Porsche would diversify after they released the Cayenne "Coupe" and cash in on the hot models. However, my local dealer has more GT cars than regular 911 variants which I find quite telling.

how about that beautiful new "wet mode" with the audio sensors which can detect when you're driving over a puddle so they castrate the car just in case you're a bozo who doesn't know how to use the throttle. I think all GT cars need that.

They should employ a different wet mode in GT cars... the car will throttle performance if it has detected that the driver or passenger has peed their pants.

It’s optional to go into wet mode.

The GTS is the current GT brand light version (a bit more power and some GT styling cues like alcantara and body kit), and there was the GT4 which did not have a GT engine, so I don’t see how it makes much of a difference to the actual GT3/3RS/2RS if things get branded GT rather than GTS.

I think you will see the boxster spyder Branded GT this go around given how popular the GT4 was in sales compared to the boxster Spyder.

Looking at the cayenne coupe, it has houndstooth, CF roof “lightweight” package, 22in wheels that look like the GT cars wheels etc. what difference does it make if it is the cayenne GT or cayenne coupe?
