Default OEM 991R/GT3RS Hood install on my 991.2 GT3 Pics!

Just finished installing my factory OEM 991R/GT3RS hood on my 991.2 GT3. I had the hood painted to match Nardo Grey and covered with Xpel Ultimate before I installed it. I also put an actual badge on it instead of a sticker, using the 997 Rubber gasket and drilling some holes like shown in my previous thread https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...e-sticker.html

I always felt the hood on the 991 generation looked a little naked especially for a GT3. I really like the lines in the middle of the hood like the 993 which they have brought back on the 992. The 911R/GT3RS hood adds a little extra character. Plus I think its dumb that the GT3 has a carbon wing but no carbon hood. The new 991.2 GT2/GT3RS hood is nice but the extra ducts are too much for a non RS GT3 in my opinion, so I went with this. Overall very happy with this subtle upgrade!

That really does look good. I know those hoods cost a pretty penny, but it does look like it belongs on a GT3.

Looks great and funny thing I never even realized the difference when I went from my GT3 to RS....but it does look a lot better with that hood!

Well done, tastefully executed.

This should have been how it was from factory.

Looks great... have been tempted to do this also. How about the roof too?

The roof is a lot more involved to remove, also the last gen roof is magnesium and crazy expensive. Looked into but it's too much of a tear up to do so. I want to be able to revert to stock if needed.
